Desktop Advisers was founded in 1994 by two former IT directors from a large Chicago based medical association. At the time there was a great need for professional technology solutions and support for small and mid-sized businesses. In many cases these companies didn’t have dedicated technical staff. However, they needed technicians to provide services such as automation, data backups and application support. Desktop Advisers was started to fill this need.
Since then, the need for timely, professional technology solutions and support is even greater. While the tools used by businesses has grown to include desktops, laptops, tablets, phones, Apple devices, virtualized servers and desktops, the basic principles of handling clients professionally and efficiently remains constant.
